Muddenahalli Ashram

 

The Sathya Sai Grama at Muddenahalli has been a whirlwind of activity over the last few years.  The tremendous changes are coming about due to the Divine Will of Sri Sathya Sai Baba who is now in residence there in His Subtle Form.

 

Prior to Swami’s manifestation there, Sathya Sai Grama was the site of several educational projects including elementary, secondary and college campuses.  Sathya Sai Baba took over responsibility for this campus and its sister campus in Alike upon the untimely death of Narayana Bhat, the original founder, in 1977.

 

Upon His departure from His Physical body, Sathya Sai Baba has taken up residence transforming this small village and it’s campuses into the worldwide center of His Mission of Love and Service.

 

New facilities have sprung up throughout the campus including a structurally magnificent prayer hall, new canteens and residences to accommodate the large crowds of devotees thronging to participate in the festivals and Satsangs conducted there.
